This privacy policy explains how Missuna Home collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit our store, place an order or communicate with us.

The data controller is Luís Gil Leite Martins Pereira, trading as Missuna Home, with the contact details set out at the end of this page.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following:

· Contact details: name, billing address, shipping address, email address and phone number.

· Order information: items viewed, added to cart or purchased, returns, exchanges and order history.

· Payment information: payment method and confirmation of payment. We do not store full card numbers, which are handled by our payment providers.

· Account information: username, password and preferences, if you create an account.

· Communications: the content of messages you send us.

· Technical information: IP address, device and browser details, and identifiers stored in cookies.

· Usage information: pages visited, time spent and how you navigate the store.

Where the information comes from

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the store and cookies, and from service providers acting on our behalf.

How we use your information and on what legal basis

· To perform our contract with you: processing orders, taking payment, arranging delivery, handling returns and providing customer support.

· To comply with legal obligations: issuing invoices, keeping accounting records and responding to lawful requests.

· For our legitimate interests: keeping the store secure, preventing fraud, understanding how the store is used and improving it.

· With your consent: sending marketing emails, showing you advertising and using analytics and advertising cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use four categories:

· Required: necessary for the store to work, including logging in and adding items to the cart. These do not need your consent.

· Personalization: remember your choices so that we can tailor your next visit.

· Marketing: used by us and our partners to measure and show advertising on other websites.

· Analytics: help us understand how the store is used so that we can improve it.

Who we share your information with

We share personal information with the following, each acting under its own privacy policy:

· Shopify: hosts our store and processes orders and payments.

· Google: Google Analytics for audience measurement, and Google Ads and Google Merchant Center for advertising and product listings.

· Meta: Facebook and Instagram, through the Meta pixel and the Conversions API, for advertising and measurement.

· Pinterest: for advertising and product listings.

· Klaviyo: sends our emails and manages our subscriber list.

· Judge.me: collects and displays product reviews.

· Faire: our wholesale marketplace for business customers.

· Marketplaces: where you order through Amazon, your order information is processed by that marketplace.

· Payment providers and carriers: to take payment and deliver your order.

We also share information where required by law, or in connection with the sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area, or process data there. Where that happens, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your information

Order and invoice data is kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. Account data is kept while your account is open. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or object. Cookie data is kept for the period set for each cookie, and never longer than needed for the purpose.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the following rights:

· Access the personal information we hold about you.

· Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

· Ask us to delete your information.

· Ask us to restrict how we use it.

· Receive a copy in a portable format, or have it sent to another provider.

· Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

· Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal information, please write to us first. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, at www.cnpd.pt, or to the authority in the country where you live.

Children

Our store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we ask that you do not send sensitive information through insecure channels.

Third-party websites

Our store may link to websites operated by others. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version is posted on this page with a new date.
